Individual choice drive by long term goals . if one wants to remain in technical it better to do MTech. If you want to move up through Management hierarchy, BTech + MBA would be recommended. Also MBA can be done later after some experience, but doing MTech may be liitle tough. -

If you are interested in Higher Studies or research in the same stream, then you may go for M.Tech. You should have 55% marks in B.Tech/BE and a valid score of GATE.
