What should I pursue B.Tech or B.Com with govt jobs preparation?

I am pursuing engineering from a private college in Jabalpur .I am confused.

As you have already mentioned that you are pursuing engineering from a private college, it is better to focus on engineering and complete it with outstanding performance. I think if u want to do govt. job so b.tech is very good. if u are doing b.tech in mechanical;civil or electrical then in this branches many govt. job are available and many govt. bank have engineers work in banking sectors. so b.tech is good. if u will do b.com then u will need to go for MBA..becau

Why MBA is necessary for bank jobs?

they are not related to government jobs as such. but to clear for entrances arts can be helpful instead of B.Com or B.Tech. all the best!

You can do but not as a regular student from the same university. Ofcourse you can prepare for government jobs also. But i would suggest concentrate on any one.

Both are equally good.Only thing you need is graduation for govt. jobs.but yes b.tech is 4 year course and b.com is three year.choose wisely.
