It depends on your interest and hard work. Both the courses are good but I think that finance is better in comparison to economics.

Both have equally earning capabilities. Choose one which you love.
Finance roles on one hand will be like Financial analysts, Investment banker, Financial researcher etc

I want a long answer with more description about both. I want both merits, demerits, scope, job roles, options and salary package in India.
