You need to go to a culinary school which is usually of 3 years in the UK, perhaps 4 years in the USA. The courses start with the first year of learning basic techniques which you pass with an exam.

You should go for culinary chef or any other chef courses offered by hotel management institutions. You can open your own restaurant if you excel in being a chef.
