A Non-Resident Indian (NRI) is a citizen of India who holds an Indian passport and has temporarily emigrated to another country for six months or more for employment, residence, education or any other purpose. You can seek graduate or postgraduate degree in all fields abroad. Similarly you can get job abroad in all fields by achieving acedmic excellence. Therefore, to become NRI you may choose any field of your choice. By the way chances to get job abroad are higher in case of Science and Engineering degree holders.
