It mainly has 3 sections:
1. Verbal reasoning: It measures your ability to analyze and evaluate written material and synthesize information obtained from it, analyze relationships among component parts of sentences and recognize relationships among words and concepts.
2. Quantitative reasoning: It measures problem-solving ability using basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data analysis.
3. Analytical writing: It measures critical thinking and analytical writing skills, specifically your ability to articulate and support complex ideas clearly and effectively.

The only skill requires is to practice. GRE is not a creativity test. You need to be good with English, reasoning, mathematics and so on. Go through the syllabus and specially work on your weak areas.
