The School of Hotel Management (LPU) has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable students to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through the most modern gazettes. There is four training restaurant to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. Infrastructure also includes one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. Industry internships in top national and international five-star hotel brands like Leela Palace and Resorts, ITC, Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Renaissance & Marriott (Malaysia ), Taj Tashi & Le Meridien Thimphu (Bhutan), Westin Turtle Bay Resort (Mauritius ), Taj Exotica (Maldives), Shangri-la (Thailand), Marriott & Hyatt (USA), Michelin Star Restaurant (L Auber Grade Trama) France, etc. If I talk about placements, the companies that visit LPU are Accor Group of Hotels, ITC Maratha, AISATS (airport Management), Oberoi, St. Regis, Shangri-la, Thomas Cook, Travel Triangle Radisson chain of hotels, etc. And Students of LPU School of Hotel Management and Tourism created the longest salad bar measuring 311.2 meters, made up of 7 different types of vegetables and weighing 1259 Kg. The FEAT was on display at Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis. LPU School of Hotel Management organized a Mocktail Competition to let the students create some new thirst quenchers. Students created artful concoctions and presented them with great verve and flair. They have separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training.
