  • To become a pilot in India after completing 12th grade, you have to clear the Class 2 medical examination by DGCA, then you have to  enroll in a DGCA-approved flight school and apply for a Student Pilot License (SPL).
After completing a 200 hours of flying you can obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). Additionally, you have to pass the required theoretical exams and Radiotelephony Restricted (RTR) license test also. The total fees cost can range from INR 25-40 Lacs in India.
