What steps should I take to pursue CA course?

Hi Nishi,
CA has 3 stages:
FOUNDATION
IPCC
FINAL
If you are a class 12 student or have passed class 12 then you can register with Board of Studies (BoS). The first Foundation examination can be taken in November/May.
In case of IPCC, register with the BoS for the Intermediate Course. Complete 8 months of study. Appear and Pass in either or both Groups of Intermediate Course. Complete 4 Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) before commencement of the practical training. Register for 3 years Practical Training on passing either or both the Groups of Intermediate.

first step is ca-cpt
second step is ca-ipcc
third step is ca-final
minimum eligibility for ca is 10+2 with any stream.after10+2 you can do ca-cpt.after cpt you are enter in IPCC.after IPCC 3 year article ship are required. after IPCC you can persue final course.icai is institution which can offered ca courses in India. -
CA Degree in India is awarded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
He has to clear three exams in sequence-
First CPT ( Common Proficiency Test )
Second, IPCC ( Integrated Proficiency Competence Course )
Third, Final course.
In addition one has to undergo following:
1. IT Training and Exam befor appearing in Final
2. Three Year Articleship / Training. 2 Year articleship need to be completed before appearing in Final
3. 15 Days GMDS course.
The above process in case you are doing the course after 12th. In case you are a graduate in commerce, you can directly enrol in IPCC.
