What stream will be best for me: CS from NIT, Kurukshetra or electronics from Delhi Technological University? My JEE Mains rank is 9544.

Your rank and state has major impact in the counselling of JoSAA and JAC. If you reside in Haryana then you will get CSE easily in NIT, Kurukshetra. You have no chances for ECE in DTU even at 9544 rank because your home state is Haryana. If you reside in Delhi then you can easily get ECE in DTU but not CSE in NIT, Kurukshetra. -

8 years agoAccording to me, it would be best to pursue electronics from DTU. DTU is the only institute other than NITs with best placement and faculties. -
I don't think you will be able to get CS at NIT, Kurukshetra. But you can easily get IT at NIT Kurukshetra which is not at all different from CS at NIT Kurukshetra in terms of placement. And until and unless you have a very strong interest in ECE go for CSE or IT.
At 9544 rank you will not get electronics at DTU. -
I don't think you'll get DTU at 9544 if you not a passed off from Delhi, Passouts from haryana have a chance at NITKKR, (General).

I think, you should go with CSE from NIT Kurukshetra but if you plan to go for higher studies then you should go with DTU as being in Delhi you would waste less time in going to coachings.
