What subject do I need to take in 10 2 to pursue animation career?I have nice art skills and I'd like to avoid maths,what should i take?
I am 16 and just going to get into 11th and am intrested in pursuing animation as a career,well to be more specific-a character designer and an animator 3d.so my question is WHAT SUBJECTS DO I NEED TO TAKE UP IN 10 2 or11th and 12th to do the above jobs?and im not good at maths so is that a problem?

Best it to go for sketching and other creative fields. Literature is the next best (English/ Hindi etc)

Hi Jayesh, as far as I know in 12 there is no subject that you can take to be an animator later on. At he max you can get computers or informatics. Not having a sound knowledge of math will not be a problem. What matters is what you take up for your bachelors. So chill for now and work towards scori

jayesh, if u r asking about 10+2 then do take any subject, bole toh maths avoid karna hai toh take arts. but what i want to tell u is that animation has nothing to do with the subjects u opt in 12th. after u complete 12th, u have to join some professional courses for animation or designing to get in

Animation course can be done after 10+2 but if you are serious you should know that you need perfect drawing skill and knowledge of computer so now select the subject carefully so they can help you in building your career

Any subject, with a knowledge of software in computer, with an aptitude for art, music, or theatrics will do for you to go into the filed of animation & multimedia.In other words, an aptotude for creativity is a must, which will guide you further into this filed.

Hy jayesh, perhaps as per my knowledge in 10 2 there are no subject that will lead you to the animation career, perhaps drawing is there. but if you want to build your careed in animation, arts field then you can join any designing institute like INIFD, or XPLORA etc...
