    For the 1st semester, there are 5 major papers:
    1. History of English Literature
    2. History of English Language
    3. Poetry
    4. Drama
    5. Indian English Literature
    and 3 Elective Paper (opt any 2)
    1. Psychology
    2. Sociology
    3. Economics
