Hi there, the fee for B.Sc. Forensic sciences at LPU is Rs 80000 per annum. You need to have 60 percent aggregate marks in class 12 with either medical or nonmedical or equivalent. The programme deals with a theoretical and practical background in all the areas of criminalistics which demonstrates proficiencies in laboratory skills like forensic molecular Biology forensic, Chemistry and toxicology. It aims to make the student understand and apply the basic concepts of forensic Biology Chemistry and toxicology in forensic sciences. Make adept to perform procedures as per laboratory standards in the area of forensic toxicology, fingerprint examination, and DNA analysis to propose solutions for criminal offense investigation. Enable the student to apply the fundamentals of basic sciences, fingerprint, questioned document examination, and DNA fingerprinting technique. Impart a basic understanding of criminal law and legal procedures to investigate criminal offenses. Being alumni of LPU, I would be sharing the fees details at LPU for this programme which is Rs. 160000/- per annum ( Rs. 80000 per semester). My sister is also pursuing B.Sc. In Forensic Science at LPU. The Forensic Science domain promises to create a research and placement-oriented environment. The department regularly works on student research projects with novel ideas of applied value. The highlights of Forensic Science at LPU include: Faculty: Highly experienced faculty excellent in terms of their educational background, research, and teaching. Fields of study: Forensic Chemistry Forensic Toxicology, Forensic Anthropology, Ballistics, Explosives, Forensic Biology Serology, DNA, Fingerprinting and Questioned Documents. Thrust Areas of research: Analysis of drugs by conventional and modern techniques, security feature analysis, Fingerprinting analysis, studies on dentures for disaster victim identification, and forensic wildlife analysis. It is a 3yr course and the per year fees will be Rs. 1,60,000/- where the per semester fee will stand to be Rs. 80,000/-. .
