What to choose between MBA in finance and CFA? Which would be best for me? I have done B.Com with almost 3 years of experience.

This would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. MBA finance is a full time 2 year course, whereas CFA has 3 levels and has to be taken as an external student based on self-study model. CFA is more focused on capital market, whereas MBA finance is more holistic with exposure to financial management. Both the courses have good scope. You need to refer their curriculum & keeping in mind your interest areas choose the one that suits your interest areas.

Dear friend,
This is totally depends on your interest. Only just now I am giving some facts -
1. If you do MBA from a good college then most of the jobs will be managerial & analyst. *For the Tier-3 colleges it will be mostly managerial & furthermore the company those are coming to give campus placements they can also offer analyst profile.
2. But after CFA it will be mostly analytical with respect to managerial. If you show your skill, attitude, confidence then salary for after passing anyone will be same. My suggestion - 1. Do CFA - Do MBA (1 year program).
2. Do MBA - Do job where pressure will be low, do CFA -switch company with hi...more
