What to choose: IIT-Hyderabad for civil engineering (4 years) and IIT-Madras civil engineering (5 years)?

I got 780 rank in JEE Advanced 2018 in SC category.

    Depends on how quick you want placement. Almost all IITs now have nearly the same placement scale. So don't overthink about the choice.

    Since IIT Madras is an old IIT, I would suggest you to take IIT Madras.
