what to do,i am placed in TCS but my joining if 6-7 months away so i was thinking of doing MS through GRE ??

i have just completed my b.tech in computer science and i am also placed in tcs but my tcs joining is still 6-7 mnths far away so i was thinking of doing MS abroad through GRE so is it a good idea to leave TCS and go for GRE for higher studies.
