NIT Trichy is better than the colleges which have the working field for the core jobs like NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Raipur, etc. Because the activities provided at NIT Trichy will overpower that. Hope it helps.

Opting for a branch totally depends on you. If you are really interested in coding then I would suggest you go for CSE at NIT-Raipur, but if you do not like coding then you can opt for metallurgy at Trichy or Surathkal as they are top 2 NITs. But you if you are not able to decide the branch then go for CSE at NIT-Raipur. All the best.
