    The topics that are mostly asked for in the GD and PI at Symbiosis are the contemporary issues i.e. ongoing issues.
    For eg., For 2018 interviews topics such as Doklam India China Issue, Rohingya Crisis, India's Foreign Policy, Triple Talaq Judgement, Right To Privacy Judgement, National Anthem Judgement, issues like Gender Equality, LGBT rights and GST are very important.
    Basically, during GDs your general awareness is tested.
    So, reading newspaper and following burning topics would help you.
    Also, the PI is basically opinion based, thus you must have your own conclusions and opinions on topics.

    Usually for the group discussion, the topics that are given to you are current topics which could have a good legal discussion. When I was a part of the GD in Symbiosis, the topic that was very much talked about at that time was about the legalization of Euthanasia, so we were given this topic for discussion.
    So, I would suggest you to prepare for recent topics that would be in discussion around your exams. Some of the topics that you should study for are RERA, GST, and (their positive and negative impacts).
