Hi,
4 major departments in hotel management are:
1) Food Production
2) Food and Beverage Service
3) Front-office
4) Housekeeping
The above mentioned four are main subjects if you study in India.
It's better to study HM abroad as you get good hands on experience and also you can work at good designations after the course while in India you will have to start career from very low as a waiter if you choose F&B as your interested department. -
1. Front office operations.
2. Accommodation operation.
3. Food and beverage service operation.
4. Food production. -
These are the basic courses under Hotel Management:
1) B.Sc. Hotel Management. 3 years.
2) Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. 4 years.
3) B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism, and Hospitality) 3 years.
4) Diploma in Airline Cabin Crew and Hospitality. 1 Year
All the degrees are having their genre and forte. If you want to pursue a career in the Commercial Aviation Industry then Degree in Airlines is a good Option.
