What type of campus life does University of Charleston offer?

<p>Life at the University of Charleston is really brimming with activities. Special emphasis is given to community and personal development in addition to one's studies.</p><p>&nbsp;More than 200 clubs and organizations offer experience in a variety of ways: from leadership, to cultural exploration, to community service. This fine campus is fantastic and very beautiful, nestled right along a riverbank, and the view inspires for both learning and also relaxation.</p><p>Sports are an important part of campus life, and the university competes under NCAA Division II in intramural and intercollegiate sports. Community is also encouraged in that there are several housing options based on class standing. Round-the-clock security and emergency systems are present to ensure the safety of the campus. Holistic education is promoted because of the activities and events through which the students are taught social responsibility and making great community impacts.</p>
