The duration of the exam is 3 hours and CSIR is conducted for five subjects namely Earth, Atmospheric, Ocen and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences. The total marks obtained in CSIR NET is 200. Candidates need to attempt a total of 75 MCQs from all three parts: Part A, B and C. Negative marking is also there I'm CSIR NET.&nbsp; The exan is conducted to assess their knowledge and skills in their respective subjects. The questions are formed to assess students' clarity about the subjects. The difficulty level of the question rises from Part A to C.</p>
