What type of questions are asked in JEE Main?

<p>The question paper of JEE MAIN Entrance Examination is divided into two sections:&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Section A consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) followed by numerical value section - B, total of 90 Questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics (30 each )&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; section A consist of 20 Multiple Choice Questions in each subject.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Section B consist of 10 questions, leaving 5 for the candidates to choose and skip the other 5.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; +4 marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 marks deducted for each wrong one. No deduction or addition happens for an unattempted question hence candidates are advised to leave the questions whose answer they are not sure about, to ensure that no negative mark hampers their scores.</p><p>The syllabus is based on topics related to mathematics, physics and chemistry subjects. <p>The JEE Main question paper will have questions from <strong>Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics</strong> as per the prescribed syllabus. Each Subject will have two sections. <strong>Section A</strong> will be of <strong>Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) </strong>and <strong>Section B </strong>will contain <strong>Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value</strong>. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B.A. Candidate has to enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.</p>
