The question paper of JEE MAIN Entrance Examination is divided into two sections:
• Section A consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) followed by numerical value section - B, total of 90 Questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics (30 each )
• section A consist of 20 Multiple Choice Questions in each subject.
• Section B consist of 10 questions, leaving 5 for the candidates to choose and skip the other 5.
• +4 marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 marks deducted for each wrong one. No deduction or addition happens for an unattempted question hence candidates are advised to l

The JEE Main question paper will have questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as per the prescribed syllabus. Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B.A. Candidate has to enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer.
