The KCET exam papers consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four answer choices for each question. There is only one correct answer for each question. The question types you can expect in the KCET exam are:
Based on Knowledge and Recall:
- Tests your understanding of fundamental concepts and factual knowledge from the prescribed syllabus for each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology).
Based on Application and Analysis:

Karnataka Examination Authority mentions the KCET 2025 exam pattern in the official notification. KCET 2025 exam comprises multiple choice questions. Each question in KCET exam 2025 will have 4 alternatives. Applicants have to mark their answers in OMR sheet provided at the time of exam. There will be only one correct option to each question asked in the KCET exam. There will be no numerical type questions. Applicants have to mark their final answers only from the alternatives provided in the question booklet. There will be no question in KCET 2025 question paper with multiple correct alternatives.
