The cut-off percentile for CAT 2016 will be 65 for candidates belonging to the General category, 60 for OBC and 55 for SC and ST. The average package is around Rs 7 lakhs.

CAT cut-off for general category students was around 70 percentile. This year it is expected to be around 65 percentile. Average package is around Rs 7 lakhs per annum.

Don't know about the CAT cut-off but if you're looking for core insurance profiles, the average package is around Rs LPA, if you have any other additional certification, the package will increase.
