The biggest downside in persuing part time MBA is that you don't get to live the high pressure life like the full time MBA students. The real deal in MBA is the mostly the extra activities that you do apart from your studies. While part time covers all the aspects of academia, everything that is non academia is missed by the part time student and hence usually is under preferred over full time course.
