PGDM is not equivalent to MBA with all aspects, therefore MBA is the best option for you.

If your focus is private job then go for PGDM as its curriculum is more industry based.

In India, only few institutes offer actual MBA. Even the top IIMs offer PGDM. So, go for PGDM from a good institute or try MMS.

MBA and PGDM are both equivalent and better aligned with industry knowledge. MBA / MMS has better opportunities in abroad. Though, PGDM courses offered by IIMs are more accepted.

MBA is slightly a better option to go for. Because, it's in demand. There is no much difference between both the courses. But it's just that, in PGDBM you are supposed to concentrate on two majors. I mean most of the colleges offer dual specialisation in PGDBM, but it is always better to be specialised in a particular field.
