Well in my opinion, i will recommend Lovely Professional University for any of the programme either computer science or mechanical engineering.

Both are renowned institutions and all the branches of engineering are capable enough to provide you a decent job. Earlier Throat have had the quality but time flew and now their is no improvisation in Thapar.
Thus, the crux is, choose any stream/branch but Lovely Professional University is now a step ahead than Thapar.
It has become one step destination to LIVE your dreams and to get holistic development.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers 4-year B.E. programme in Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Computer Science & Business Systems. It also offers M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, M.E. in Software Engineering and MCA. The Department has an active Doctoral programme too. Firstly, it depends upon your interest as your branch get changed in these 2 colleges. So, you think about your interest.
Listen, both the colleges are the best but don't mess your interest. Think through your mind about your interest and do it accordingly.
