Hello, The percentile one achieves in the exam determines one's ranking in JEE Mains. Additionally, the national testing agency chooses the student's two best performances to calculate their percentile. The calculation here goes all the way to 7 decimal places. NTA will release the JEE Mains results once both testing sessions are over, and Devil will simultaneously release the percentile and ranking that each student achieved in this exam. Since the necessary data is solely and exclusively available through NTA no one else can calculate the percentile.

In addition National testing agency selects best out of the two performances of a student to determine his or her percentile. This is calculated up to the 7th decimal place. Once both the sessions of examinations are over NTA will declare the results of JEE Mains and devil also announce simultaneously the percentile and the ranking which students have obtained in this examination. No one else can determine the percentile since the data required is available
