After talking to several people, I can tell you that you should see CAT 2016 RANK vs PERCENTILE. This year was easy comparable to that.

7 years agoCAT percentiles are calculated as similar as calculated in other exams. In any exam percentile shows how many persons are below in list. Eg. Suppose you got 5th rank in exam where 2000 students appears in exam it means 1995 students score less than you. Percentile will be calculated like this-
%ile= (1995/2000)*100= 99.75percentile. CAT percentile is calculated after calculating your scaled score. Your score in CAT out of 300 is your raw score. CAT exam conducts in more than one shifts like CAT 2018 will conducts in two shift.
