You have to construct an efficient network to interact and to create your customer base by doing the job similar to an "entrepreneur". Many top executives have started their career as sales officers, sales, and marketing jobs will superbly quickstart your career. -
It depends on designation you have been placed in sales and marketing. These are:-
1.CMOs
2. VP- Sales / Marketing
3. AVP- Sales / Marketing
4. GM - Sales / Marketing
5. AGM / DGM
6. Regional Manager
7. Area Manager
8. Sales Officer / Team Leader
9. Sales Executive.
Day to day activities of these designations are different in nature. Please note that sales and marketing departments and process are different. So those who works with sales department and marketing department have different job profiles.
