What will be the Impact on my placement due to 3 years gap between 12th & B.tech?

If after 12th in science, i do polytechnic diploma and then B.tech. I passed 12th this year in 2015, If i take admission in B.tech on the basis of polytechnic, then the companies like HCL, infosys, IBM, google, will mind the gap between polytechnic and 10th?

It will not be any significant impact if you have good academics and you are able to provide good reason that why you took 3 years of gap. Also if you are good or better than the majority of people at campus hiring, be sure no one is going to look at gap. All you need to do is prepare for placement
