    The mode of the KGMU BSc Nursing entrance exam is offline (pen and paper based) and the duration of the exam is three hours (180 minutes). All the questions will be MCQ based (objective-type). As per the past trend, the exam is conducted form 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Candidates are required to report at the test centre 1 hour before the exam begins. There will be 200 questions in the entrance exam.

    There will be an offline entrance exam for the KHMU BSc Nursing programme. The three areas of the question paper were biology, chemistry, and physics. The exam took three hours to complete. Two hundred multiple-choice questions were asked. Every question was based on the class 12 syllabus. There were 200 marks in the exam, with one mark assigned to each question. Admission to a four-year BSc nursing programme is facilitated by the state-level entrance exam known as KGMU Nursing. King George's Medical University (KGMU), in Lucknow, will administer the test. The KGMU central library remains open all days of the week. From Monday to Saturday, the timings are from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and on Sundays, the library is operative from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is completely closed on public holidays such as on Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Holi, Eid-ul-Fitr, Dusshera and Deepawali. 

The library also consists of a reading room, open from 9:00 am for the whole day and closing at 6:00 am the next day.

Yes, King George's Medical College does offer a library facility to its students. It has a collection of 44,862 books, 29876 bound volumes, 3883 print theses and 1316 DVDs / CDs. The library operates on the software KOHA and uses OPAC-SOUL software so that students can access the digital database of the library.  It is subscribed to 194 print journals, 4410 e-journals and 4273 e-books, providing the students and faculty with plenty and the best resources. The library also consists of a reading room with a cafeteria right next to it.

Yes, KGMU offers hostel facilities to its students. Candidates from general category are required to pay INR 48,100 (With Hostel charges) and 43,200 (Without Hostel charges). However, OBC/ SC/ ST category students are required to pay INR 42100 (With Hostel charges) and INR 37200 (Without Hostel charges).

The total fees for BSc courses at KGMU range from INR 48,000 to INR 3 lakh. Fees for the BSc programme also varies according to reservation quota. Candidates from general category are required to pay INR 48,100 (With Hostel) and 43,200 (Without Hostel). However, OBC/ SC/ ST category students are required to pay INR 42100 (With Hostel) and INR 37200 (Without Hostel). Usually, the tuition fee is paid at the beginning of each academic year.
