What will happen if someone is not able to submit EWS certificate even during JoSAA counselling even though he belongs to EWS category?

 If someone is not able to submit EWS certificate even during JoSAA counselling, he/she will not be considered for the EWS category since no proof is being submitted. But, this does not mean you can not take part in JoSAA as you can still change your category during counseling.

If you are unable to produce EWS Certificate, then they will not consider you to come under EWS quota as they need some proof to verify your identity as EWS. So you need to get it to verify your identity. Therefore, try to get the form as soon as possible. Otherwise they'll consider you as General C
