What will happen if someone misses the internal exam in I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU)?

This is something common in colleges because you have a lot of things you need to do, a lot of work except your college studies, like sports activities, NCC, NSS, events and all, and sometimes both collide so if something is important you are doing then you can email your HOD that this is the reason
