What will happen if someone misses the internal exam in IIM, Udaipur?

<p>IIM-U rules decree that a student who does not score the required number of grade points at the end of the first year may have to repeat it. But every student has to complete the two-year course in a maximum of three years. Those who fail the first year a second time are forced to drop out.</p><p>The hard part is if you are repeating the first year you need to pay the entire tution fees again.</p><p>That means a straight increase of around 35&ndash;40% of the fee for the entire course . Do you think everyone can afford this. I don't think so.</p><p>Assuming the total fee is 22 lac. If you repeat you need to pay again the first year fee. That boils up to around 28&ndash;30 lac ( 1 year extra mess fee included) for the completion of the course. And you lose one year of your work experience as well + addtional salary if you would have passed at the right time.</p><p>It is because of the tough first year regime the facchas at ABC proudly call themselves survivors.</p><p>That's what &ldquo;Battle royale&rdquo; is all about. You learn a lot during your first year. The art of working in groups, the art of making right choices, the art of chosing the right electives. And the most important one the art of personal management.</p><p>Anybody who thinks cracking CAT and getting the final admit is the toughest part.
