If you miss an internal exam and there is a specific reason behind it you can talk to the administration and the teachers regarding the same. Depending on your reason you might get a second chance to perform in the internal exam otherwise you can get a 0 out of those 25 marks which can be extremely difficult for anyone to cope in the final external exam. All the students are advised to be careful regarding the dates and do not miss them unless there are genuine reasons.

In Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi, internal exams are an important component of the evaluation process and carry a certain weightage in the final assessment of the course. If a student misses the internal exam due to unavoidable circumstances, they may be allowed to take a retest, but this is subject to the rules and regulations of the college. The college may also have a policy on the number of times a retest can be taken, and the duration and format of the retest. It is important to note that missing the internal exam or failing to perform well in it may have an impact on the final grades obtained by the student in the course
