    Being a student here, I've noticed that anytime a student skips an exam, they are still permitted to retake it on the appointed date with heavy monitoring.

    Only if you have told your concerned faculty why you won't be taking the exam is this possible:

    1. You should have a good excuse, such as health problems or something else.

    2. You must provide sufficient evidence (a doctor's certificate) in the event of a medical emergency.

    3. Alternately, you needed to let your professor know you would be absent.
