    Astronomy courses in India are focused on Data Analysis and the use of fundamental Physics whereas theoretical Astronomy is based on analytical models or the creation of computers to describe celestial processes and objects. The two disciplines complement one another.

    After finishing high school or Class 12, a candidate may pursue Astronomy courses in India. Selected institutions and colleges in India offer Astronomy studies at the Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
