Dear Danette,
It is always preferred to go for a degree course, especially when you are looking out for a career change.

Hi, it is always preferred to go for a degree course dear. A Diploma and certificate course is usually a short term thing which will help you for a certain period of time in your career but it's benefit won't last for very long. You cannot grow more in your field with these courses. I am not denying

No need to worry about the subject change because now what matters is your skills and passion rather than just a degree and this is the time where interdisciplinary are actually doing well. Come to your query, if you are not in a hurry for career settlement and earning then you should go for degree

You will be eligible for MA interior Design, if your B.Sc is in subjects other than Interior Design.

Masters is the best course if you have plan for further studies. Try for it.
