What would be the best answer to your choice of specialization during GD/PI?

It's pretty easy. Tell them whatever you feel. If you already have a keen interest in any particular field just let them know. Then go on to explain how you have developed an interest in that field and why do you like it. For example, if I like finance, I can tell that I developed an interest in stock markets during my second year of engineering which led to an interest in the finance field as a whole (something like that). If you don't have liking for a particular specialization just let them know. Tell that you haven't yet decided but these two specializations sound interesting and you may pursue any one of them. The panelists won't...more

Last year this question was asked to me in Doon Business School, Dehradun's interview round. Try to correlate your interests with the specialisation. Give live examples of how you think you can portray that a particular field motivates and excites you.

GD, you should have knowledge about all current happening in whole world. At that movement, your voice should be clear and not harsh. In GD session, every point kept by you must be clear and perfect. During this process, never try to give any fake statement, because your statement is your attitude and attitude is important. These are the basic point to keep in mind while going for GD:
1. Proper dressing.
2. Avoid fancy things.
3. Clear sound and silent voice.
4. Communication skills is an important factor of GD.
5. Knowing knowledge about current happenings. All the best. -

7 years agoI am a part time faculty for personality development program in one of the MBA coaching institute. My advice to the students is to "Be honest!"
A candidate should be very clear on why he/she wants to do an MBA? What specialization a candidate will take? How it is going to change and shape the future.
I would say, an aspirant should be honest. All the best.
Don't turn back around. Don't give up. -
There are no best answers for these kind of questions, you have to make your answer to be the best by relating it with your strengths. Before going to any such GD/PI a candidate should do SWOT analysis with respect to career objective.
After doing that refine your goal if needed. In GD/PI you have to use your skills, past experience and thoughts to Support our answer which should be realistic and achievable in stipulated time.
If I say for eg, I want to go for Operations then I should know why Operation, what is Operation means and what makes me perfect guy for Operations. If you have any past experience of like being Engineer or work...more -
