Whats the exact difference between an MBA programme and a PGDM?? Does it affect the job prospects in future by doing PGDM?
I am confused between them both regarding the value and job prospects as most of the colleges are offering PGDM these days...

PGDM stands for post graduate diploma in management and MBA is a degree, so the basic difference is in degree and diploma and normally degree has more value than diploma, but there are some assumptions in each field as IIM in this.

only the Universities can offer the MBA programme and PGDM is offered by Institutes, even the Institutes like IIM gives PGDM. So, job prospects depende entirely on the reputation of University/Institution
