Whats the scope of Masters of eng studies in New zeland

I am a B.E(E&C) Graduate currently employed in an Engineering firm as an Hardware Design Engineer.i wish to pursue higher studies in electronics.i had applied for MSc in UK but am now looking at MEng Studies(1 yr course) in NZ,is this course recognised worldwide.most imp what are the job ops in NZ .
