When applying to the US, does your B.E percentage or your GRE score have a larger impact on ur chances of getting admitted to an MS course?

Does your GRE score have a greater weightage than your overall %age in engineering when applying to the US? I should get a 1st class BE degree if all goes well in my final semester but id rather hope for a good GRE score to get me through rather than pin my hopes on my engineering marksheets...
