When can I apply for Masters in journalism and mass communication? I am waiting for my graduation's result.

I am waiting for my 6th sem results and I am looking forward to apply for Masters in journalism abroad. I would like to know if I should wait for my results to apply for colleges or can I do it now? If so, what documents are needed?
