Dear Ashish, I am answering your question assuming that you are going to appear for MAT december 2016. If this is the case, then you can take admissions once your results are out. The score card would be valid for 1 year. Still I would suggest you to appear in CAT, XAT, SNAP as good colleges (Tier-1

If you are planning to sit for December MAT, your GD and PI will held in between January and March. If you get shortlisted in them, you can take admission after that.
