When can the candidate apply for IAS Exam?

  • The candidates can apply for the IAS exam within twenty days of the Civil Service Exam notification. Union Public Service Commission releases the official notification in the first week of February every year. In 2023, the UPSC released the Civil Service Notification 2023 on February 1. The last date to apply for the IAS 2023 exam was February 21. This year, the candidates were not allowed to withdraw their IAS applications. The candidates can register at the official website of UPSC anytime. The UPSC started the one-time registration facility in 2023 only.
