I would rate LPU better than other private universities for BSc in Microbiology. My friend did BSc(Hons.) in Microbiology from LPU itself and shared positive feedback.

The choice between LPU and Amity depends upon one's suitability and comfort. LPU has a better and bigger campus and infrastructure, while Amity University has somewhat better academics. In LPU, the campus life is better but the crowd is more. In amity university, the crowd is less and better quality environment.
LPU has more number of companies but somewhat poorer average package. Amity has a moderate number of companies but better average packages.
The fee of LPU is very less whereas of that of Amity is almost double to that of LPU.
Overall, Amity can be rated as 70 out of 100 and LPU 67 out of 100.
