When did NEET 2024 counselling process begin?

<p>NEET 2024 counselling dates were announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on July 29, 2024. The counselling process started on August 14, 2024, and will conclude on December 30, 2024. NEET 2024 counselling Round 4 was conducted from October 22 to November 5, 2024. The Round 3 was conducted from October 2 to October 19, 2024. The Round 2 registration process began on September 5, 2024 and reopened from September 13 to September 16, 2024. The Round 1 was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024. MCC revised the dates on September 13, 2024, with the reopening of the registration process of Round 2 due to the change in seat matrix. As per the revised dates, the last date of the counselling is November 5, 2024. The number of rounds may get extended depending on the number of vacant seats. The state medical authorities will conduct the counselling process for the 85 per cent state quota seats. The dates for counselling were different for the national level and state level admission processes. There will be four to six rounds of NEET counselling, which is the gateway for admission to medical and allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and BSc Nursing.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Four to six rounds of NEET counselling are required for admission to medical and allied programmes, such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BSc Nursing.</p>

The MCC announced the NEET counseling dates last year precisely one month following the announcement of the NEET result. The counseling process for the 85% state quota seats will be undertaken by the state medical authority. The deadlines for submitting applications for admission at the state and federal levels varied. The entry point for admission to medical and related programs including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BSc Nursing is through 4-6 rounds of NEET counseling.&nbsp;</p>
