When do ACT results get released?

Official ACT scores typically take 2 to 3 business days to transmit electronically once the request is officially processed. However it generally takes an additional 1 to 2 weeks for the receiving college to download, process and update the scores into your personal student application portal.

A score of 35 on the ACT exam is considered almost equal to or slightly better than a score of 1550 on the SAT exam. You can share your ACT scores with as many universities as you want. However, the number of free score reports you receive depends on when and how you submit your choices.

You can select up to 4 colleges or scholarship agencies that can receive your scores for free when you register for the ACT.

As per the official ACT website, one must book a test at least 2 months in advance. This will ensure that you get a seat on your desired date - causing no delays in your college-joining plan.

The next date of the upcoming ACT exam for Indian or non-US applicants is 10-11 July 2026. The early deadline to book your seat for these dates has already passed on 12 June 2026; the last deadline is on 26 June 2026.
