There will be a shortlisting of students with best ranks. As the people with best ranks take their seats, the vacant ones will get passed on. All the best.

Yes, you can definitely get admission. Tentative dates for application form release is January to February. The entrance test is conducted on May 5 and the results are out between May 25 to June 10 of every year.
